Mom and Mark wanted beer and pizza, so they grabbed their bikes and I got to run alongside all the way to 1702. Then they let me sit in the booth and even gave me a cup of chicken! I LOVE that place!!!
Wahoo!!! Mark came out to the preserves with us! I actually didn't mind going long today! In fact, I picked the longer way some of the times when they let me choose what trail to take! I think I blew my cover though, because I ran REALLY fast to keep up with Mark on his mountain bike. Mom was way behind me most of the time. Dang, now she's gonna try to make me run faster when we go alone. It's WAAAAAY more fun when Markie is there!
I wasn't so sure about this, but once we got on the trail, I hauled ass to make Mom keep up with me. I got tired since I don't go much with my mom anymore (getting old, I guess) and slowed down. At one point, she wanted to keep going, but I just sat down on the trail and put my paw down. NOPE, we're going back to the car now. Lucky for me, I get my way most of the time.
I had a good day of being back with dogs again and getting lots of dog walks in.....man I miss that! I get bored down there in Tucson! I wanted to keep going on the trails, but Mom made us turn around, claiming we had somewhere to be. Boo!
Yippee Mom took me out for a fun hike today! It was really cool too because John came along! He is my favorite to hike with besides mom. Mom's boyfriend is nice but kinda slow on the trails. He is a climber which is fun but it scares me when I look down.
We went all the way up to the top of some mountain with Antennas. On the way down I met a new friend, he was a German Sheppard. Towards the end of the hike I got licked by a Great Dane and it about knocked me over.
I didn't really want to leave but mom made me get in the Jeep.
