Around the coffee tour farm:
UL: Dichorisandra Thyrsiflora, commonly known as Blue Ginger, though it is not actually a true ginger plant, but rather a member of the spiderwort family.
LL: I remember this one from the 1960s when my folks came back from the Islands - Anthurium andraeanum, commonly known as the flamingo flower.

UR: cacao tree (Theobroma cacao), which is the source of cocoa beans used to make chocolate. The tree has alternate, unlobed leaves, and its seeds are found in pods. The pods are typically yellow to deep purple and contain 20 to 60 seeds. The seeds are surrounded by a sweet, sticky white pulp. The island is one of the few locations in the United States where cacao is commercially grown.
Middle right: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, also known as Chinese hibiscus or tropical hibiscus.
LR: Indian Head Ginger (also known as Scarlet Spiral Flag or Red Button Ginger, scientific name: Costus woodsonii) is a beautiful plant found on the Big Island of Hawaii, but not native but was introduced as an ornamental garden plant.
