I started at 6:10. I saw some Poppies here and there for the first mile or so but they were still asleep. Nice and green out and had the trail to myself until I passed the intersection with the Ranger trail. This is where I saw a few more Poppies and the no more until a few in Pima Wash. The weather was great and the hike was good time.
