Took wknd out/back backpack on this route. I went as far as the first
campgroud described in the writeup, about 2 mi on Cavalry. The stream was
near knee deep so there was alot of wading which felt good given the 70temps.
The area was green and lush. Alot of hikers of all sorts. Shared some
cairn finding at the crossings with a backpacking couple.
