Took this trail (part of AZ trail) from prison camp trailhead
to the intersection with the west fork trail on up to Hutch's
pool then a few miles past the pool. I had done this two years
ago following the AZ trail route up mt. lemmon then down oracle
ridge to oracle. I was so amazed by Hutch's pool the first trip
I kept telling myself to go back so I went ! I spent at least
7 hours swimming and sunning there over two days, just an amazing place.
Sat. night above Hutchs had the usual night huddled in the tarp with
rain all night.
