By the time we finally got everything packed up and ready to go hike (around 1130), the backpackers were already on their way to Webb Peak, maybe even there. Nice easy hike up to the old lookout. The backpackers passed us on their way down. Following the hike to Webb, we drove west to the end of the road to do Clark Peak next.
