Arrived at 8am to find only 6 other cars parked at the trailhead. I made my way over the bridge and started down the trail. I soon arrived at the first creek crossing and met a real nice couple from Montana who I ended up hiking most of the trail with. The 3 of us hiked to the 3 mile turnaround point and back. The canyon was beautiful and the autumn colors were great, although they still need some more time to peak. The last mile out got a little crowded as dozens of people were coming in. Made it back to my truck at a now full parking lot with more trying to get in.
