A great Thanksgiving with great people! I wanted to hike somewhere that had amazing views and was not an all day hike, to get to the destination! I had the idea and my friend Alex ran with it. He is so good at planning these things and I have been working a lot lately since we are short around the holidays. He really did us well! It worked to our advantage that he didn't realize the scale of this hike, because he didn't scale down the meal! We had as much variety and quantity as any traditional Thanksgiving. We had appetizers, wine, hot chocolate (with Baileys) We had turkey with chestnuts and mushrooms. We had had TWO trays of Potatoes Au Gratin (I may have argued about taking both trays up..) Such a good experience, we will probably repeat it every year! beautiful weather, not too cold. We even saw vaporman on the way up! : rein : Happy Holidays!

I don't have a computer… Not because I'm against having one. Really just hasn't been a top priority on my gear list.
