A great hike with Uncle Mike! We started at the Roger's Trough Trail Head. After checking out Elijah Reavis' grave, we continued our hike to Reavis Ranch. We both loved the changes in scenery, along with the changes in elevation. The ranch and apple orchard were a fun destination! On the way back, we met up with a couple of hunters with pack horses. I don't think they had gotten any game on their trip. The way back was a lot of fun, but the last mile and a half were really tough from an energy standpoint.

One of the hardest things about this hike is the drive on 172 and 172a. These roads continue to deteriorate in my opinion.
