We hiked in from 109 South and camped at the ranch Saturday. Our intentions were to set up camp, gather some wood, eat lunch then head up to Circlestone. Unfortunately we arrived at the ranch a little later than we had hoped to. So we just meandered around the ranch instead. There are few apples there that we saw, but they are up high and hard to get. Sunday morning we climbed out of our bags after a long cold night with little sleep and ate breakfast before packing up and heading onward. We didn't want to do the typical up and back routine, so we had arranged to be dropped of at Rogers Trough Trailhead and picked up at the Reavis Trailhead. Pretty nice to have hiked over the mountain. We had a great time doing it.
