Since we didn't make it to the Pueblo Canyon ruins from Cherry Creek yesterday and the fact we camped near Workman Falls overnight we decided to hike out to the overlook and view the ruins from above. It was nice and cool overnight with the low hitting 36 degrees just before sunrise so we expected a nice and refreshing hike. Unlike yesterday, we weren't disappointed. We saw many deer although none bold enough to get their picture taken. The only side trip we took was the .2 mile Edward Spring Trail to where it just looked like swampy grass, some spring! Other than that the trip was uneventful.

On our return to the trail head we took a drive to the top of Aztec Peak and climbed the ranger tower. The trapdoor was locked so we were unable to see the panorama views we expected. But even the views from below the tower were great.
