| no partners | | | Incredibly scenic loop hike in the Ritas with my friend Chris. Trails were in great condition, the weather was perfect. We parked at the Cave TH, took the connector to the Gardner Cyn Tr. and up the Gardner Trail to the Super Trail and on to the summit of Wrightson. Then we took the Crest Trail to Florida Saddle to connect with the Cave Cyn. trail that took us back to our vehicle. Fun seeing a side of the mountain that I'd not been on before and Wrightson was gorgeous as always. One of my favorite parts of the hike was the rime ice on the upper reaches of the mountain. It was pretty, coating all the trees and bushes, and once it got warmer, it started to fall like rain out of the trees.
