| no partners | | Did this as an out & back from the north trailhead on FR 104B. I posted a GPS one-way track for the hike. It was a cool morning, 59 degrees, and very pleasant. The trees were mostly pine at the start and became juniper as we approached FR413 at the turnaround point.

North trailhead on FR104B: N34 41.643 W112 07.557 (signed junction at .0 miles)
Jct with Trail #9037: N34 41.313 W112 07.958 (signed junction at .7 miles)
Trail joins dirt road: N34 41.086 W112 08.087 (signed junction at 1.0 miles)
Trail leaves dirt road: N34 40.714 W112 08.004 (signed junction at 1.5 miles)
South trailhead on FR413: N34 40.155 W112 08.400 (signed junction at 2.5 miles)
It would be possible to park at the south trailhead on FR413 in order to hike uphill during the first half of an out & back hike. There is plenty of space off the road to park. There were a couple of campers nearby on the day we did the hike. |
