| no partners | | I attempted to cross country ski to the lava tube a few days after new years. I say attempted because I do not possess the intrinsic grace that would allow someone to naturally be talented in anything new. I actually fell onto my own ski and bruised my butt worse than the time I tried for hours to crawl into the rock on peak 2.
A freaking monumental bruise! I resisted the urge to share but did take a few pictures. 
The really funny part is I can downhill ski but the is a lack of control with the cross country skis that I wasn't used to.
Rule #1 stay on the road. Treks through the woods are not a great idea especially if there isn't solid snow. You also tire the little Chihuahua mixes that wanted to come along.
Okay last thing- Did anyone else notice the amazing sparkles in the ceiling?!  |

I don't have a computer… Not because I'm against having one. Really just hasn't been a top priority on my gear list.
