The Sawtooths are part of Ironwood Forest National Monument administered by the BLM. Last week I explored a number of roads on the eastern portions of the range, but today I wanted to head over to the west side. We ended up basically circling the northern two thirds of the range. I think Jack was fairly impressed with this out of the way place. We worked our back to the Greene Wash crossing along the western extension of Harmon Road. It had been graded since my trip here last week, so we decided to go out that way. This saved some miles and let us get up to Eva's for dinner quicker. |
