| partners | | Short jaunt off to the north of our route to & from Bear Head Mountain to the summit of Peak 6504. The first part had us weaving in, around and over dead-fall followed by reasonably light batches Manzanita near the summit. On the return trip the brush was considerably thicker but reasonably passable. Along the way we found the skeletal remains of a 7-point deer, which we surmised could have been a mountain-lion kill due to the widely scattered remains.
