I hiked up from the river to the Monument Creek backpacker campground, and back to the boats again. It's not a long hike at all, and very beautiful and pleasant, so I'm surprised I didn't do it when I was on a backpacking trip and camped at the backpacker campground. There was no one camping there this day. The next day I rowed Granite Rapid, the biggest rapid I rowed while on the river trip.
