I started out at 7 a.m. thinking I would hike only to Maiden Pools, but I met a foursome who were planning to make it to the Window. I asked if I could tag along. They turned out to be very nice folks. It's a hard haul, but the hardest part for me on a hike like this one is always the last 3 miles or so before you get back to the car! OUCH my FEET!

I have sort of been off my game, so it's good to be back doing something a bit more difficult again.

I think I will go sit in a hot bathtub and drink a beer. Doesn't that sound relaxing?
