| no partners | | | Jessica and I enjoyed the spirit of spring on this nice loop. The half dozen hikers we passed were as friendly as morning hikers on Telegraph in Ahwatukee. Two guided us to the resident owl with a nest fit for a bear! |

Wildflowers Observation Substantial
The largest displays encountered were on the Dixie Mtn Loop then Desert Tortoise near the neighborhood. Seems on par with Valley shows in 2008. No where near the extreme 2001 displays when less common types came outta nowhere.
Other triplogs rave Great Horned Owl is the ticket. |
