This is a good moderate hike, close to Denver. It wasn't crowded, and it's nice to find trails that aren't overrun with mountain bikers. Pikes Peak is still snow covered, and the views from the top were great. A couple of small streams were a bonus, and the dogs enjoyed the chance to cool off, though the weather was perfect ... cloudy and in the upper 60s. |
