Hiking in I got confused at the logjam and could not find the trail, so I proceeded up creek in the water. I went until the water became waist deep. My Keens were great for a water hike. I wasn't prepared today for a serious water hike so I turned around at this point. Coming back I found the trail and stayed on it as much as possible.

Saw a King snake but could not get my camera out fast enough to shoot it.

First time in years that I've been here when the apples were ripe on the trees.

Lots of people here for Labor Day.
