Beautiful day and perfect temperature. Beautiful fall hike - still some color in the trees. The trip to the Ranch was one of the best hikes ever. The Eastern Supes are so incredibly different from the Western side. At Reavis Ranch there were apples on the trees. Bears are having a feast - lots of fresh bear scat. Some trees are down and block the trail so some meandering.
Not posting my time for this hike because I had a knee problem on the way back that really slowed me down. I don't want to sound like a whiner, but it's tough hiking 9 miles on one leg. |
