This is a classic Arizona backpacking trip! It's justifiably famous for it's towering waterfalls, beautiful blue green water, and incredible hiking. This is one of the great water hikes in the world!

This was a 4-day, 3-night trip. We carpooled up Thursday afternoon and car camped near the trailhead. Early Friday morning, we started the 11 miles hike in to the campground by taking the switchbacks to drop into the canyon. The day's hike takes us through the village of Supai where we can stop for a cold beverage. We got to camp early enough to spend the day exploring nearby Havasu falls and swimming in the cool water.

On Saturday, we climbed down the ladders and chains at Mooney Falls to hike downstream to Beaver Falls, splashing and swimming our way to a great swimming hole. Some say this is one of the great day hikes in the US.

On Sunday, we climbed down Money Falls and hiked to the Colorado river.

Monday we hiked back 11 miles to the trailhead.
