| partners | | Hippy had a couple of hours to kill before work so we decided to make a quick hike over to Sweetheart Spring and The Three Sisters.
We started down Hermit and made our way to the base of the Coconino. From there we followed a use trail to the north that led us directly to the spring. We had a look around and then returned up the Hermit Trail. Along the way we met a fellow HAZ member named Mick. He was heading down Hermit on a backpacking trip and will be exiting Bright Angel in a few days.
As we neared the top of the Hermit Trail we went off trail into a drainage and Hippy led the way to The Three Sisters. They are very interesting and I'm glad we took the time to check them out. After that we returned to the car and returned to the village. |
