After the rough drive back down FR 49 I was looking to pick up something quick and easy, and Sweetheart Peak fit the bill. Although not a 300' prominence peak, just the name was enough to make it worth a look.
Although it was a winding route, it was a short and reasonably steep hike on cow-paths all the way to the summit. The views were nice but I doubt my Sweetheart would enjoy being dragged up here. Back to the Jeep and on to Peak #3.
