| partners | | I've wanted to go through the box since last year when we explored after looping around Battleship. My bouldering skills aren't that great, but Karl is patient and doesn't mind pulling me up every now and then. I did learn that if you slip and slide up to your waist in green scuzzy water, you will smell like green scuz the rest of the day. I wonder if grace and balance can be obtained....
We saw three sets of campers on the first part of Boulder Canyon Trail and then we didn't see anyone else until we had looped all the way around and saw a guy bounding down from Battleship. We chatted with him on the way to the 2nd Water/Boulder Canyon intersection. It was his first trip out to the Superstitions and he had learned about Battleship from HAZ! |
