| partners | | | Year two of the Spartan Race with the Droog. The venue was at the Fort McDowell rodeo grounds this year, much better than parking here last year and taking a 20+ minute shuttle on the school bus to the actual event. The course was longer this year, and added some obstacles, but we were able to shave a good 15 minutes off our time anyway, woo hoo. Great weather for the event, we had a few more wet and muddy obstacles so we were glad for warm sunny weather. Really enjoyed the post race free beer, even if it was a Bud light...There are muscles that are sore that I did not even know I had. I will need more upper body training for next year for sure. This was a really fun race, and a good all around fitness challenge. |
