| no partners | | Took my dog Daisy on her first hike. We had planned on hiking Bronco trail but the road was getting to the dog so we decided to cut the drive sort and do Camp Creek Falls. She did great I was a little worried about horses and other dogs but we were the only ones there until the hike out On the way out, about 1/2 mile from the car, I could hear barking. The barking was loud, like there were some BIG dogs coming. That's exactly what it was 2 of the biggest German Shepherds I had ever seen. Luckily the owner was quick, he threw a stick down in the ravine to get one of them distracted then he grabbed the other. My dog (on a leash) stayed cool but the dog being held by his owned was going crazy. It want to KILL!! It was a very tense moment to say the least but we got past each other and unharmed
It was a great hike and I'm looking forward to taking Daisy out again |
