The trail was hard to find in many spots and a lot of the rocks were loose, even the really BIG rocks would move some. This made for an entertaining hike 
not only for me watching my wife and kids fighting to stay dry but the other way around as well 
We made it in about one and a half miles in before everone wanted to stop and rest 
I got everone comfortable then headed up to the top of the canyon to check things out. From the canyon floor, there is a fence post sticking out from the top of the canyon wall, so I had to see why it was there. I was hoping it would be a mine shaft or something cool like that but when I got to it, It was simply the end of the fence 
So I headed back down, gathered up the troops and headed back to the car.
