| no partners | | The morning temps in Prescott were about 65 degrees. By the time I hit Isabella, it had crept up to about 69; still very nice. Isabella is pretty and she is soft and I could feel that tingling sensation in my feet and knees. However, my ankle was bugging me a little. I decided to jump off of Isabella and take a more direct approach. The off-trail transcended to a mine and old camp. I stayed off-trail but decided I’d have another go at Isabella on the way back. I eventually picked up another trail and summitted Spruce Mountain. Next it was the dirt road and I didn’t enjoy that much.
I decided to check out some real estate and explore a bit which ended up being rather unpleasant. I longed to be back on Isabella. I contoured beneath Spruce and finally was back on Isabella. This time I would take my time and enjoy everything she had to offer. But alas, it was over too quickly and I headed back to the starting line. By the time I reached the starting line, it was 82 degrees and a beverage was in order. |
