Esperero Trail #25

6 PM hike with the wife to the Cactus Picnic area, where we enjoyed roast beef sandwiches. From there, I hiked a short distance up the Esperero Trail to a ridge where I grabbed a picture of the setting sun highlighting just the top of parts of Saddleback Ridge across Sabino Canyon, including Thimble Peak.

A nice outing, with just a few souls inside the canyon, and actually pleasant conditions for an early July evening.
