| no partners | | Started out my day with a Kendrick Loop Hike. Bruce and Joe did this one a couple years ago. Nick and I almost did it a couple weeks ago but we did something in Southern AZ instead. It's been in the back of my mind ever since so I figured why not give it a whirl.
I car camped in Hotel Del Cherokee at the Kendrick Trailhead and started hiking around 7am. It rained off and on all thru the night. This made for a nice soft ground that was just wet enough to keep the dust down but not muddy.
I went clock wise and when passing the tower I didn't go up. I waved to the person but that was about it. The pumpkin trail isn't in the best of shape and Bull Basin Trail has several downed timber. Outside that it was a fantastic hike with great views along the way. |
