| no partners | | | Did this short little hike with my two daughters (9 and 7). Could not have asked for better scenery. The road getting there really does require a high clearance vehicle. It was a doozie... It a short hike down a steep hill basically. The camping spot was ideal. It threatened to thunderstorm but we got extremely lucky and it passed before we started hiking at 6:30 pm. We were just able to set up camp before it got dark. The hike out the next morning was a little steep for the kiddos, but they toughed it out like champs. I would highly recommend this hike. I bet the fishing is great too... I need to invest in a packable rod. |
