Enjoying Rim Country for the long Memorial weekend. Thought it would be fun to check out East Clear Creek again as it’s been a few years since we were there. Obviously, I didn’t do my research!! Sadly, Horse Crossing trail was impacted by last year’s Tinder Fire. The trail is still pretty defined - only a few sections that leave you wondering. Cairns have been placed to try and keep folks on the trail. No more hiking thru ponderosa pines and Gamble oaks; just charred trees. There are already signs of regrowth and once down to the creek it’s like a little slice of heaven! Followed the fishermen’s trails to explore further
