It rained. Some of us didn't have to go to work officially, and others didn't go anyway. :)

The Supes are magical when it rains. Unsure if we would be able to get to the trailhead, we were happy to find that the slick mud of the road was a bigger issue than the wash crossings, which were happily not too deep.

It rained on and off for most of the day before letting up over the last couple of miles.
