| no partners | | I took a trip to Winterhaven, CA to pick Tangelos and buy dates, and tour the area, briefly. On the long day, temps were perfect in the middle 70s, and it was calm and sunny, so I did two dune walks. The first was on the bigger dunes off I-8, and the second was off of Sidewinder Rd north of 8. The ATVs were out, but not like they could be so it was actually quiet off Sidewinder, once the pack got past me. I figure I walked further, but who cares?
It really is lovely out on these big dune. These are probably the nicest I have ever been on. I would like to return later, in very late Winter or early Spring, probably while visiting Palm Canyons in Anza Borrega. |
