| no partners | | My first hike for 2015 and it is a fantastic hike! Not just for the views, which are top notch, but becuase I did it in shorts and a T-shirt! It was 70 at the trailhead when I got back, and it was a real pleasant feeling after the cold earlier this week. Lots of snow on the Rincons north of Mica MT, and the snow covered Pinalenos were visible poking over the Galiuro Mountains. Excellent views on this one, hard to believe it is a minor hike overall for Tucson given it has a fair amount but not too much AEG, and because it is in a nice area with paved access, unlike Rincon Range hikes further east.
If I lived on the east side, this would be my Pusch Peak/Ortega-A Trail/Mount Elden, since it is such a great one, and the summit views are awesome! I wish I had done this in the past, but it is a hike worthy of attention even if you waited. |

| | Seemed to be a decent amount of water, right about 50%, but hard to determine having never seen it dry. Clear water, too. | | _____________________
