Thought we would get out for a New Years Day hike. We were delighted to see the beautiful snow covered Superstitions and found more snow than we expected as we got closer to the Peralta trail head. There were lots of picture takers and a lot of hikers later in the day. It got a little sloppy, but ice didn't pose any problems where heavier traffic packed in.
