We began our hike with intentions of a crossover from Miles Trail head to the Pinto Creek trail head of Haunted Canyon, but found the road going up to Miles too muddy, so our entire group hiked from the mining road to the lower #203 trail head to Tony Cabin and return. Found lots of snow and ice in this beautiful hike. Had to ask a few mining trucks that were blocking the road in to move so we could make the final turn into the canyon. Saw the guy with the white dogs on his ATV. This is one 'special' hike.
