After successful AZT presentations at the Glen Canyon Visitor Center and for the City Council of Page, I headed to Moab for a Gossamer Gear Trail Ambassador Weekend.

Most of the folks arrived later in the day so I went for a hike in Arches before meeting everyone back at the retreat house. Despite all the warnings about the "primitive trail" I made it through the loop. :) Great hike with 8 arches. It was a chilly but beautiful day with patches of white snow and ice on the red rock. Made me happy to have my microspikes for the slippery parts.

Caught an outrageous sunset at Balanced Rock before going and meeting the other Trail Ambassadors, some of the most well-known names in long-distance hiking.
