| no partners | | Fired up crappy Garmin 62S. It was reading 123 miles on current track. Zeroed it. A minute later, before moving more than a foot, battery died. Had two spare AA batteries on me. Replaced the batteries. Fired up crappy Garmin 62S. It now read 6.something miles. Zeroed again. Took a step. Crappy Garmin 62S now read 125 miles. Zeroed a third time. Finally, crappy Garmin 62S appeared to be working. I swear, I should get credit for 260 miles, than the 4-something I did today.
Air quality supposedly mostly "good". I am not a scientist, but it looked like ... well ... a Garmin 62S to me.
The stats: PM10 = 40 (good), Ozone = 38 (good), Carbon Monoxide = 19 (good) and PM2.5 = 76 (moderate). 75°, 30.05 in. pressure, humidity 37%, winds out of ESE at 2 mph. Judge for yourself, if the bottom 3/4s of the Estrellas being obscured is "good": youtu.be/mrgcmzyDaao .
Saw a herd of eight horses (with riders -- including a small "Men in Black"-type dog free-riding behind the lead rider.) |
