| no partners | | More exploration to familiarize myself with the area for my return trip from Pikes Peak. I have hiked this area once from Barr Camp so I have been doing a little recon to make the unknown part of the route easier. Of course if they would just open Severy Trail since the fish they closed it for haven't been endangered for 10 years I could just connect trails from oil creek tunnel. Anyway, the wildflowers are substantial in the Crowe Gulch and 334 areas. I missed the turn for 334 the last two times because of extreme growth blocking the turn off. I definitely will have to explore the other trail where I found the cabin since I got turned back by snow last time. I might get around to checking out other areas in a hundred years when I figure out where all the trails in my area go.  |
