While reading up on triplogs, I saw that JJ had stopped at Wendy's in Tusayan while doing this hike. So the theme of the morning became; 10 miles until Frosty....nine miles until Frosty...eight miles until Frosty... :lol:

We had seen elk first thing on the hike in National Forest, but they did not want their picture taken, no matter how quiet we were. At the end of the hike on Grand Canyon land, the elk were actually hamming it up for the camera!
