| no partners | | What do you seen in the last photo? I went to Baja for a week with 3 people from a San Diego kayaking club. Was very glad for the invitation, since my sea kayaking skills are not up with theirs, but I did okay. This particular day we left our camp at Coyote Bay, south of Mulege, and paddled around a couple of islands and into a very small mangrove swamp. I've paddled in mangroves before, in Costa Rica, but had no idea they existed in the Sea of Cortez. The wind picked up as we paddled back to our camp. That's the scary part of sea kayaking.
During our trip we saw many interesting birds, plus whale sharks and dolphins. |
