Originally planned to head up to Sedona for a Memorial Day hike up the Bear Mountain Trail. But then remembered that we had agreed to watch my sister's kids while she and her husband had a San Diego weekend getaway. One of my nieces is 4, so we dialed it back and did the Heiroglyphics trail instead. She did great and told me on the way back that she loved hiking! :y:

The weather continues to be unseasonably mild, and there were a ton of families out on the trail today. But this is not a hike you expect solitude on--particularly given the great weather.

Fun hike; fun company; fun day!
