| no partners | | The day was off to a nice start, albeit a bit humid, with incoming overcast sky's and a light breeze. I haven't been up Hiero in a while so this seemed like a good time to do it.
Fired up the Route Scout for the first time and seems to work without issues on the Galaxy S4. Hit the trail around 0700 with only 3 cars in the parking lot. This trail always has lots of loose rocks to stumble on and it's not improving with age. I noticed a series of wooden stakes, like surveyor's stakes, alongside the East side of the trail..... Hmmmm maybe laying out a new route??
There was two women and five noisy kids at the glyph site so just took a break to let the sweat evaporate then began the return trip. The only water was in stagnant pools kinda dark and greenish. Picked up lots of trail trash along the way back.... might be a while before hitting this one again

On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip. |
