| partners | | Last hike of the day for us, and the best. Saw two deer through the manzanita. They'd move a bit, but stop to peer at us through the foliage. Once entering the wilderness area, the trail was a pure pleasure. Nice views and interesting flora. The manzanita were blooming nicely. Love the red color of their trunks.
Once up top we checked out the nice ruins. The haze limited the views to simply spectacular as opposed to they usually amazingly spectacular.
Hiked back to the Jeep and made the short drive to camp at Hazlett for some well earned libations. Great way to end a good day in the Bradshaws. |
