For our third hike in the area I wasn't sure I wanted to do this other than to scratch it off as done. Much better than anticipated. Cool little cave. The water was 50 degrees based on a good ten minute Fenix reading. Felt like an air conditioner blowing out at the entrance. Dave lured us in and it was mildly interesting. The coolest part was how cool it was in the middle of the summer. Moving on I think we all liked the continued tree cover. Pivot Rock is interesting. Felt like we were going downhill the entire way. Paid the Piper and scrambled out the last mile.
