| no partners | | | My friend and I camped here in July before going to Clear Creek and Glen Canyon with our kayaks. We also did a short paddle in the tiny Dogtown Lake--hardly worth the trouble of launching the boats! Campground is fine, but there were several RVs nearby which ran their generators a lot. They did turn them off before the 10 p.m. curfew, thankfully. We could have found a quieter spot, I think, but we wanted to be near the overflow parking since you have to pay extra for a second vehicle. Anyway, it was fine for a night. I live nearby, but I don't have very much room in my RV for company to stay with me. |
