| no partners | | I took Harry de Bruyn (visiting from the Netherlands) on a whirl-wind weekend hiking and sightseeing tour. With the Grand Canyon on the top of Harry's "must see" list, we decided to take the backdoor route into the National Park. Had a 4:30am wake-up call Sunday morning at our Flagstaff "base-camp" hotel. We stopped along Hwy 64 about half a dozen times taking in the Little Colorado River Gorge Overlooks. There's incredible, vertigo inducing, 800 foot shear drop, into the gorge.
I think this area definitely merits a future HAZ Hike Description!
